Vanessa Ali, DVM

Dr. Ali grew up in Plano, Texas, where she still resides. She attended Texas A&M for undergrad and earned her veterinary degree from Ross University. She has over 10 years experience competing professionally with her Paso Fino horses.

 

After an internship at Rockwall Equine Center, Dr. Ali joined PMCOD in 2012. She refined her expertise at several DFW clinics before officially taking over from Dr. Fuller in 2019.

​​

Dr. Ali has many pets, including several horses, a small her of goats, two dogs, "Saphira" & "Coqui" and two cats, "Fiona" & "Tigger." In her free time, she enjoys riding, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.

Lisa Johnson, DVM

Dr. Lisa Johnson graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1990, and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years. She has a strong sense of adventure, thanks to growing up in a military family.

 

She strives to take at least one significant trip each year, preferably internationally. In addition to travelling, she enjoys music and playing Pokémon Go. She is an active participant in her church's choir.

​

At home, Dr. Johnson shares her life with a lab mix named "Tyre" and three domestic shorthair cats: "Lilly," "Nori," and "Alvin. Her son is currently serving in the military, and her daughter works as a phlebotomist.

These fine felines are the youngest generation in a storied history of clinic cats. Clementine was adopted through the Tricity Animal Shelter in 2016, and Petrie joined the family in 2019 after being abandoned at a local church.
